Introduction - Overview

Safe Storage is a organization that provides lockers food and clothes for the homeless community in Bellingham Washington. They are working towards creating permanent 24 hour access storage options in several sites in Bellingham.

Bio: Jacob is graduating from Western Washington University in June of 2019. He works for KUGS radio and as an audio tech for WWU. He is  also involved in radio theater and loves recording new musical artists. He is relatively new to  producing video and is excited to be learning new video techniques.

Safe Storage PNW has engaged WWU student Jacob Torres to create promotional video content to highlight what they are doing in the community. These videos are intended for social media to build awareness and support for their organization.

Jacob Torres is graduating from Western Washington University in June of 2019. He works for KUGS radio as an audio technician for WWU. He is also involved in radio theater and loves recording new musical artists. He is relativly new to producing video and is excited to be learning new video techniques. 

Lorelei worked with Jacob to develop a framework for the project. She assisted with scheduling gear, shooting logistics and gave production advice and expertise for Jacob to create a successful video project.

 

She reviewed several edit versions and advised on ways to make the project better. She also worked with Jacob on common communication tactics for interacting with the client. 

 

Her learning objective from this practicum was to develop her leadership skills by sharing production expertise in a producer role for creation of video content.
